Differenza tra Yaesu FT991 e FT991A

Questi due apparati ricetrasmittenti radioamatoriali della casa produttrice Yaesu sono uno l'evoluzione dell'altro ma sostanzialmente sono identici. Una differenza che salta subito all'occhio del Radioamatore è l'SDR interno. Nella versione 991 il grafico non si aggiorna in tempo reale ma con qualche secondo di ritardo, invece nella versione FT991A il grafico dello spettro di banda è aggiornato in tempo reale, veloce e fluido. Per i possessori della versione precedente, è possibile modificare l'apparato ma il costo per questo upgrade a mio avviso non vale la candela ed è necessario che sia fatto da persone esperte e preparate. Ricordo che ogni modifica (già solo togliere una vite sul case) farà perdere ogni forma di garanzia.

  The 1st IF frequency incorporates selectable robust 3 kHz and 15 kHz roofing filters that effectively attenuate interfering signals. The triple conversion circuit structure allows highly flexible gain distribution at each stage.   Advanced Spectrum Scope with ASC (Automatic Spectrum-Scope Control) located just below the LCD display gives the operator all the information for comfortable QSO on the DXing scene.

Il Radioamatore possessore di questo apparato (che sia il 991 o 991A), non può che non esserne soddisfatto e orgoglioso di averlo. Certo, troverete sempre la persona pignola che cerca il pelo nell'uovo ma sostanzialmente, questa è una radio; relativamente economica, compatta, che fa quasi tutto e lo fa anche bene.

Chi desidera acquistare un "991" e non naviga nell'oro, a parer mio, consiglierei di acquistare un 991 usato, si possono fare degli ottimi affari, pensando appunto che molti sono passati alla versione A, magari immaginando di avere una radio "potenziata" e decisamente migliore della precedente.
